Pengana Private Credit arm appoints Mercer

Pengana Capital Group has appointed Mercer to act as investment advisor on portfolio construction for its recently launched private credit arm, Pengana Credit, as it prepares to launch new private credit funds..

This strategic appointment marks follows a $200 million seed investment from Washington H. Soul Pattinson as part of a joint venture to provide access to global private credit investments previously inaccessible to most Australian investors.

"Our investors will benefit from Mercer's scale and access to private credit opportunities across the globe," Pengana Capital Group CEO, Russel Pillemer, said.

"Pengana Credit expects to release several unique private credit investments to market, all of which will benefit from this strategic investment appointment."
