Alphinity Investment lists two global equity funds

Fidante fund manager Alphinity Investment Management has listed two of its global equity funds on the Australia Stock Exchange.

The Alphinity Global Equity Fund is a long only concentrated portfolio of 25 to 40 stocks across sectors and regions.

The Alphinity Global Sustainable Equity Fund has also just listed on the Australian Stock Exchange. It too is a concentrated portfolio of 25-40 global companies but focusses on companies with strong ESG practices that contribute towards at least one of the UN sustainable development goals.

"Important areas of research going into 2023 will include climate change, biodiversity, cybersecurity, changing ESG regulation, greenwashing risk and people (including workplace culture, inclusion, labour management, health and safety)," Alphinity ESG and Sustainability Analyst, Moana Nottage, said.

Both funds are managed by the global equity team which includes portfolio managers Chris Willcocks, Jeff Thomson, Jonas Palmqvist, Mary Manning and Trent Masters.

Lonsec and Zenith have both rated the global equity fund and the global sustainale equity fund recommended.
