Zurich names chief distribution officer

Kieran Forde has been promoted to Zurich's chief distribution officer.

He joined the organisation from ANZ in 2018 as head of Bancassurance & Direct and was the head of Zurich propositions.

His appointment comes alongside the hiring of Jacqui Lennon as head of customer and digital.

"Both Kieran and Jacqui have a reputation for collaboration and creativity," said Justin Delany, CEO of Zurich Life & Investments. "Their appointments, alongside those of our other executives and the distribution leaders we have in Nathan Taggart and Tim Atley, will support our commitment to partnership and adviser service."

Before joining Zurich, Forde spent nearly 11 years with ANZ as the head of ANZ financial planning and head of wealth solutions and partnerships.

He replaces Kristine Brooks, who resigned last month to take up a role outside of the life insurance industry. She finishes with the organisation at the end of November.
