Yarra Capital promotes from within

Olivia Bayley has been promoted to the role of investment manager of Australian equities at Yarra Capital Management.

Bayley joined Yarra for four years as an investment analyst covering industrials, media and tech.

Before that, she spent five years at AustralianSuper working with the equities team.

Interestingly,  the investment manager began her funds management career at Australia's biggest superannuation fund as an intern in 2013 then joined as graduate one year later.

Yarra Capital managing director Ed Eason said the firm was delighted to promote Bayley to investment manager in the Yarra equities team.

"She is a highly accomplished analyst and will be taking on increased responsibilities for portfolio investments. Her expertise in the Industrial, Technology and Media sectors supports strong investment returns for our clients," he added.
