Brett Westbrook to head new Fintech firm

Brett Westbrook, former CEO of Fortnum's e-Clipse Online, has confirmed his appointment as managing director of new adviser-focused fintech firm MA Operator. In the new role, he will take overall responsibility for the firm's business strategy and outcomes.

Westbrook has worked in the financial services sector since 1978 and spent the first 15 years of his career at National Mutual Life (now AXA) in investments and superannuation roles. In 1995 he was appointed CEO of the TWU Superannuation Fund before leaving in 2000 to run FuturePlus Financial Services.

Commenting on his appointment, Westbrook said: "After many years working in the large end of town, it's good to be applying my market knowledge to delivering a class-leading software application."
