Weaven steps down as ME Chair

Garry Weaven has stepped down as chair of industry fund-owned bank ME, effective 1 January 2016. He is succeeded by Ken Hodgson who has been a director of the board since January 2012.

Weaven joined the ME board in April 2000 and was appointed as chair in early 2015 after the retirement of long-serving chair Bernie Fraser. He will continue as a director after being re-elected at the bank's AGM.
