WealthO2 names tech chief

WealthO2 has appointed Matthew Done as their new chief technology officer.

Done has more than 20 years of was most recently the tech principal for global payments platform World First's Australian operations. He joined the organisation when his previous employer, CurrencyVue, was acquired by World First. He's also held roles with Macquarie Bank and CBA.

"Matthew is a highly accomplished application architect and development manager with experience managing and implementing several mission critical systems development projects," said WealthO2 managing director Shannon Bernasconi. "His appointment follows strong demand for the WealthO2 adviser solution, and this demand will only increase as advisers continue to increasingly question the value that the traditional platform providers bring to their business and clients."

WealthO2 launched its digital meeting tool for advisers in April, which streamlines the process of connecting an adviser and client using remote technologies.
