Warakirri Asset Management (Warakirri) has confirmed the appointment of Jim McKay as the firm's new managing director, as reported this week in trade publication, Investor Strategy News.
McKay succeeds John Nolan, who departed the role in March 2017.
McKay joins Warakirri from Franklin Templeton, where he held various roles over a five year period, most recently as head of distribution. Prior to that, he worked for Challenger, as managing director of the wealth division; ING Investment Management, where he was head of distribution; and Boss Software, where he held the role of CEO.
A spokesperson for Franklin Templeton has confirmed that a search is currently underway to appoint McKay's successor.
