VicSuper appoints new board Director

VicSuper has appointed Merran Kelsall as a board director, effective March 2016, and the new chair of the fund's Audit, Compliance and Risk Management Committee, effective June 2016.

Kelsall has experience in finance, audit, risk and compliance having chaired numerous audit committees, including oversight of risk management and compliance.

Her current appointments include: director of RACV Limited, chair of the Auditing and Assurance Standards Board and Australian Health Service Alliance, member of the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board, and deputy chair at Melbourne Water.

VicSuper chair Bruce Hartnett said: "We are thrilled to welcome Merran to the board; she brings with her a wealth of experience having served on numerous boards in both the private and public sectors. I'd also like to thank Stan for his time on the VicSuper board and wish him well for his future endeavours."

Kelsall replaces Stan Odachowski who served on the VicSuper board for five years.
