VicSuper appoints Executive Manager, People Experience

VicSuper has announced the appointment of Jo McKennariey as the $21 billion fund's executive manager, people experience, effective October 2018.

In this role, according to the fund, McKennariey's focus will be on building a "diverse, inclusive and robust team".

McKennariey joins from Blue Sky Alternative Investments, where she served as interim chief people officer and corporate affairs director. She has more than 15 years' experience in executive, leadership and project management roles, across the finance, insurance, retail and government sectors.

At VicSuper, she joins fellow new-recruit, Martin Vassallo, who has been appointed to the newly-created role of chief risk officer.

Commenting on both appointments, VicSuper CEO, Michael Dundon, said: "Martin and Jo's depth of skills and experience significantly strengthens our existing executive team and enhances our capacity to deliver great outcomes for our members."
