VFMC appoints fixed income PM

Victorian Funds Management Corporation has recruited Jesse Imer as a portfolio manager, fixed interest.

Victoria's $64 billion investment specialist said Imer will report to VFMC head of fixed interest and absolute returns, Nick Tribe.

Imer brings over ten years of fixed income experience, having worked at Mason Stevens and State Street.

At Mason Stevens, he ran a $1.1 billion fixed-income portfolio for three years.

Before that, Imer worked as a balance sheet trader and strategist at State Street where he was responsible for liquidity management and fixed income allocation.

In 2016, he joined Bloomberg's fixed income trading sales team educating terminal users on e-trading venues for foreign exchange and money markets.

His previous roles included interest rate dealer at Curve Securities and credit analyst at National Australia Bank.
