Vanguard appoints new Senior Account Manager

Vanguard has confirmed the appointment of Andrew Mathie as the firm's new senior key account manager, effective 25 July 2016.

Previously Mathie worked as the division director of banking and financial services at Macquarie Group.

He told Industry Moves that his move to Vanguard comes after an extended break from working a full-time job to working as a full-time Dad to his "two very active sons."

"The 10 months I spent with my young sons, which also enabled me to support my wife in her career (she's a lawyer), was the most enjoyable and rewarding period of my life. It restored my balance, and gave me much needed perspective."
