UCA Funds Management appoints Director Investments

Ethical funds manager UCA Funds Management has appointed Ben Pedley as its new director of investments. Pedley will relocate from Hong Kong to Australia for the role.

Pedley has over 20 years' experience in financial markets and was previously head of investment strategy, Asia, for HSBC Private Bank based in Hong Kong. Prior to this, he was a managing director, head of advisory services, at LGT Bank in Hong Kong and head of investments at UBS Wealth Management Australia.

Commenting on the appointment, UCA Funds Management CEO Michael Walsh said: "Benjamin's experience provides us with insights into ethical financial investment on a global scale. It is important that Australia isn't looked at in isolation when we consider ethical strategies, and I know that our investors will enjoy Benjamin's enthusiasm to share his experience and knowledge."
