Trehy departs Macquarie

Eoghan Trehy has departed more than six years as national head of insurance broking across Macquarie Bank and the business banking operations.

"I wanted to say a huge thank you to both the wonderful people that I got to work with during my time in Business Banking and BFS and the fantastic clients I got to engage and interact with on a daily basis," he wrote on a post on his LinkedIn account. "I have thoroughly enjoyed my role in the Insurance Broking segment and the team will continue to do a great job being led by David Ball. Many memorable moments that I'll have forever."

Before joining Macquarie in 2014, Trehy spent more than eight years with CBA as a relationship executive and director with industrial clients including transportation and logistics. He also spent several years with Citibank as a product controller for Australia and New Zealand.

Trehy says he expects to be able to announce his new adventure in the coming days.
