Treasurer extends Future Fund board appointment

Former University of Queensland deputy chancellor, Jane Wilson, who was first appointed to the board of guardians for the Future Fund in 2015, has had her term extended by one year.

Carolyn Kay has also had her term extended by three years.

Federal Treasurer Josh Frydenberg announced the move on Friday. "Ms Kay and Dr Wilson...served with distinction during their first term. Their reappointments will ensure the Board continues to benefit from their significant experience and expertise across financial markets, corporate governance and public policy."

Wilson has held roles in finance, education, and medicine, with directorships at Sonic Healthcare and Transurban.
