Tongs departs Cromwell board

Jane Tongs has retired from the board of the Cromwell Property Group. She spent a short time as the chair, being appointed in November of 2020 following a board spill. She has been on the board since 2014.

Cromwell has appointed Gary Weiss as its new chair. It was Weiss' ARA Group takeover of Cromwell in 2020 that lead to the spill.

Said Tongs, "I wish the Board, management, and staff of Cromwell every success.

"The Board renewal process has proceeded quickly and the key remaining item on the to-do list, the appointment of a permanent CEO, is in the hands of the Cromwell Board." Tongs thanked the board, both past and present, for their support during the transition.

Tongs also recently retired from the Netwealth board.
