TGM names new CEO

Tactical Global management (TGM) has appointed Neil Fletcher as the firm's chief executive officer.

Fletcher has over 20 years' experience in financial markets and in particular OTC and listed derivatives products. He previously spent 14 years with Macquarie Bank Limited and subsidiaries, heading up areas of its listed derivatives business in the US, UK and Australia.

A spokesperson for the firm said: "With the appointment of Neil, TGM will look at building on existing tailored investment solutions, including the recently won $7b rebalancing, currency, and DAA implementation overlay mandate from a large Australian financial organisation. Neil will also look at growth prospects across alpha investment strategies and in conjunction with Peter Higgs, TGM's executive chairman based in London, bring socially responsible investment opportunities to Australian investors."
