TelstraSuper has confirmed to Industry Moves the appointment of David Humphreys as head of sustainable investing.
In this newly-created role, Humphreys will be responsible for implementing the $21 billion fund's Sustainable Investment Policy across the "entire investment portfolio to ensure that TelstraSuper continues to uphold high standards of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) practice in its investment processes," the fund said.
Commenting on Humphrey's appointment, TelstraSuper CEO Chris Davies added: "This senior appointment further reinforces TelstraSuper's commitment to sustainable investment. David has strong credentials and is well respected by the industry, we're delighted to have him on board."
Humphreys was previously the head of research and a senior investment analyst at JCP Investment Partners, having joined the firm in 2011. Before that, he served as executive manager, corporate development at Suncorp and as a vice president at Morgan Stanley.
