TelstraSuper has appointed Melissa Donnelly as a member representative director on the board of the $20 billion fund.
Donnelly currently serves as the deputy secretary of the Community and Public Sector Union (CPSU). She first joined the CPSU in 2005 and held a number of roles before being elected to her current role in 2014.
According to TelstraSuper, Donnelly is involved in setting the national strategic direction of the CPSU, as well as governance and budgetary processes. She is also involved in representing and advocating on behalf of CPSU members employed at Telstra Corporation Limited.
Donnelly, who commenced her term in June 2018, succeeds John Jamieson.
