TCorp promotes long-standing exec to Head of Funding and Balance Sheet

NSW Treasury Corporation (TCorp), the financial and investment management provider for the NSW Government, has announced the appointment of Fiona Trigona as its new head of funding and balance sheet, effective 17 February 2017.

Trigona's unit within TCorp provides loans to NSW Government entities and manages State Government bond issues. She will be responsible for driving the strategic direction of funding activities, maximising the investor base and running a broad range of funding programmes.

Trigona is a long-time employee of TCorp, having worked with the organisation for over 20 years, most recently as the head of funding.

Commenting on her appointment, newly-appointed GM, financial markets, Paul Verschuer said: "Fiona is a passionate advocate for the work we do here on behalf of the State and I congratulate her on this appointment. Not only has she overseen the significant growth of our balance sheet but she has also been a key contributor to TCorp's long-standing reputation as one of the most professional and innovative semigovernment funders."

Trigona added: "I'm delighted to have the opportunity to lead the Funding and Balance Sheet team and look forward to contributing to TCorp's work in strengthening the State's financial position."
