TCorp appoints Senior Manager Portfolio Risk

TCorp has announced the appointment of Tom Gillespie to the role of senior manager portfolio risk.

Gillespie has previously worked for Russell Investments, Commonwealth Superannuation Corporation and Citigroup, in senior quantitative and risk analysis/management based roles, responsible for institutional portfolios, TCorp said.

He joins fellow TCorp new recruits, Tanya Branwhite, as head of portfolio construction, and Derek Mock, as senior portfolio manager, which TCorp said are the last in a "sequence of key appointments" since restructuring its investments business.

TCorp chief investment officer, Stewart Brentnall, said of the latest recruits: "These appointments dramatically strengthen TCorp's organisational capabilities in key areas of our investment management model. Each of the appointments brings highly relevant experience gained at the coalface of financial services and portfolio management, in Australia and in some cases internationally."

He added: "We look forward to their contribution as we position TCorp to deliver best practice investment management and advice to our clients".
