Tasplan has promoted operations manager Kathleen Crawford to chief operations officer for its merger with MTAA Super in 2021.
Crawford joined Tasplan in 2017 as executive manager of operations from Tasmanian public sector super fund RBF where she held marketing and operations roles. RBF and Tasplan began their merger in 2016.
Tasplan's current COO and deputy CEO, Nick Connor, will exit the organisation when the merger is completed.
CEO designate of the merged group, Leeanne Turner, said, "We are excited about the future. This merger will allow us to provide the personal customer service benefits of a smaller fund while harnessing the benefits of scale a larger fund can bring."
