T. Rowe Price adds to Australian Equities team

Global Investment firm T. Rowe Price has announced the appointment of Chris Wu as an investment analyst for its Australian equities team.

In this newly-created role, Wu will report to Ryan Martyn who was recently promoted to the role of head of research following seven years working as an investment analyst.

Wu was most recently an equity investment analyst at Macquarie Investment Management where he focused on Australian large and small-cap stocks.

The firm is also looking to further expand the six-person team, with the recruitment process underway to hire one more analyst.

Commenting on the expansion of the investment team, T. Rowe Price head of Australian equities, Randal Jenneke said: "We are tremendously excited and optimistic about the value that our expanded team can bring to Australian investors as they navigate higher levels of volatility and the opportunities this presents."
