Synchron has appointed former Sentury Group chief risk officer Hanna Abdullah as their new head of compliance - policy and regulatory.
Abdullah joins Alison Massey, who joined the organisation earlier this year as head of compliance for advice assurance.
Synchron has reorganised its risk and compliance operations following the resignation of GM for legal, risk, and compliance, Michael Jones. "We have decided not to fill the role vacated by Michael, but instead to elevate both Heads of Compliance so that they report directly to the Synchron Board," Synchron director Don Trapnell said.
Abdullah has been with Sentry Group for nearly 10 years. She previously held compliance roles with Kingston Capital and Adviser Solutions.
