Sutinen joins Revolution as portfolio manager
Revolution Asset Management has appointed ex-Challenger fixed income specialist Steve Sutinen as a portfolio manager.
He's joined by Lucie Bielczykova in newly-created roles in the firm's investment team.
Sutinen will focus on asset-backed securities, managing the process including origination and ongoing monitoring of existing transactions.
"Steve and Lucie are investment professionals of the highest calibre with extensive experience in private debt portfolio management and deal origination, structuring and analysis," said Revolution CIO Bob Sahota. "They will be invaluable in driving investment performance and delivering on our portfolio objectives. We look forward to continuing to cultivate our business by building strong, trusted relationships without investors and growing our footprint both domestically and in New Zealand."
Sutinen spent the last two years with Bluestone's APAC operations and, before that, spent more than 21 years with Challenger in asset and portfolio management roles.
In a LinkedIn post, Sutinen said he's excited to join the team. "Bob Sahota, Simon Petris, and David Saija have built an amazing business and I am really looking forward to doing my part to make it even bigger and better."
