Lonsec Fiscal Holdings, the parent company of SuperRatings, has confirmed the resignation of Adam Gee, SuperRatings' CEO, effective June 2017.

Gee has over 18 years' experience in the superannuation industry. He joined SuperRatings as head of consulting in July 2013, before being promoted to CEO in July 2014. Prior to joining SuperRatings, he was a director of KPMG, where he worked for 11 years, and before that he held roles with Colonial First State and AMP.

Commenting on his departure, CEO of Lonsec Fiscal Holdings, Amanda Gillespie, said: "Adam departs with our best wishes and we thank him for the enormous contribution he has made over the past four years. SuperRatings' growth under Adam's stewardship has ensured we continue to clearly operate as the preeminent provider of research, insights and consulting services across the superannuation industry, with the business underpinned by a highly experienced and growing team, together with the wider support of the 115 staff within the Lonsec Group."

Gillespie confirmed that a formal process to appoint Gee's replacement is currently underway.
