SuperConcepts appoints SMSF Technical & Private Wealth exec

SuperConcepts has announced the appointment of Graeme Colley as executive manager, SMSF technical & private wealth.

Colley has more than 30 years' experience in taxation and superannuation, having held senior roles at the Australian Taxation Office and as an assistant commissioner of the Insurance and Superannuation Commission. Most recently, he was director, technical and professional standards at the SMSF Association.

Commenting on the appointment, SuperConcepts' CEO Natasha Fenech said: "Graeme is a well-known figure in the SMSF community with a long-standing reputation as an accomplished SMSF educator, technical expert and advocate for the sector.

"Graeme's appointment adds considerable strength and capacity to our technical team, which already includes some of the industry's leading technical experts and SMSF educators."

Colley commences in the role on 5 September 2016, reporting to Peter Burgess, general manager technical services and education.
