Super SA appoints CEO

Super SA, the $24.4 billion superannuation provider for South Australian public sector employees, has announced the appointment of Dascia Bennett as its new chief executive officer, effective December 2017.

Bennett has over 20 years' experience in the super industry. Most recently, she was head of customer at NGS Super, a role she was appointed to in July 2015 and departed from in July this year. Previously, she was NGS Super's national manager of growth & distribution and, prior to this, held senior roles with Energy Industries Superannuation Scheme, REST Super and AustralianSuper.

Commenting on her appointment at Super SA, board member, Annette Hurley, said: "Dascia brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the role and will be a great asset to Super SA."

Bennett replaces general manager, John Montague, who has departed Super SA following three and a half years in the role.
