Sunsuper CIO announces retirement

Sunsuper has announced the retirement of its long-serving chief investment officer, David Hartley, after a 34-year career in the investment industry including 10 years with Sunsuper.

Immediately prior to joining Sunsuper Hartley was the director of investment consulting at Russell Investment Group, and prior to that he was the chief investment officer at Mercer.

Sunsuper has confirmed that a recruitment process for Hartley's replacement has commenced and will include consideration of a number of internal candidates.
