Sunshine Coast Mayor joins LGIAsuper board

LGIAsuper has announced the appointment of Mark Jamieson to its board as an employer representative, effective 1 July 2018.

Jamieson is currently mayor of the Sunshine Coast, a role he has held since 2012, and president of the Local Government Association of Queensland.

Prior to his election as Mayor in 2012, Jamieson spent 30 years in chief executive and senior leadership roles in media and publishing, notably at APN Australian Publishing.

At LGIAsuper, he will replace Margaret de Wit, who has served on the board since 2013.

He will be joined by three new member representatives, Ros Heit, Jennifer Sanders and Ray Burton. The three new member representatives will replace Noel Cass, Fiona Connor and Ron Curtis, who retire from the board in July.
