Suncorp Super Chair retires from board

Suncorp Portfolio Services Limited (SPSL) has announced that Jim Evans has retired from the SPSL board, effective 30 April 2019, following a decade of service, including three years as chair.

Jan Swinhoe, currently the chair of the SPSL Trustee investment committee and a member of the Audit & Risk Committee. will act as interim chair of SPSL while the search for a new chair is underway.

Swinhoe thanked Evans for his "decade of service to SPSL, during a period of significant regulatory and legislative changes."

Evans was appointed chair of ME Bank in April 2019 replacing Ken Hodgson, who retired from the board after seven years' service, the last three as chair.
