A spokesperson for Suncorp has confirmed that chief investment officer, Nick Basile, has resigned and will leave the group at the end of June.
Basile joined Suncorp in 2013 from his role as acting chief executive of Presima, a Montreal-based real estate fund manager subsidiary of National Australia Bank.
In a career spanning almost 40 years, Basile has also held investment leadership roles with Lend Lease, Legal & General, CBA, St George, Ascalon & nabInvest.
The search for a new Suncorp CIO is underway.
