Senior ANZ investment advisor and private banker Joey Mouracadeh has left ANZ for a role at Stanford Brown after five years of looking after family offices' investment and banking needs.

The private wealth company has appointed Mouracadeh, as a senior investment director.

The recruit has spent a couple of decades working with RBS Global, UBS Wealth Management and Credit Suisse Private Bank.

Stanford Brown chief executive Vincent O'Neill said the appointment was driven by the firm's explicit strategy to expand the experience of its adviser team, most particularly those experienced in dealing with the private wealth needs of sophisticated families.

"Mouracadeh brings decades of experience working in investment markets and his appointment builds upon the February employment of Nick Ryder as the firm's chief investment officer," said O'Neill.

"They collectively represent a significant investment by the firm in talent that allows the delivery of tailored investment solutions for clients and will help accelerate the next leg of Stanford Brown's growth journey.
