Stanford Brown has announced that CEO Jonathan Hoyle has stepped down from his executive role with the organisation, a position he's held for nearly six years.

"Jonathan's leadership contribution to the firm has been significant, initially as an Adviser, then Director of Private Wealth and from 2015, as Chief Executive," said chair David Brown. "In his time as CEO, Stanford Brown's largest Private Wealth division has flourished as a leading professional provider of full-service financial advice. The results over that period speak for themselves - the business has grown in Client numbers, number of Advisers and Assets Under Management."

Hoyle joined Stanford Brown in 2008 as a partner and financial adviser. He previously held portfolio management roles with Caxton in the UK and was a bond trader with J.P. Morgan Chase in London and New York.

"Beyond business performance, Jonathan has reinforced our history of innovation and strong culture, with Stanford Brown being awarded for both our technical expertise and as one of the country's best places to work," said Brown.

"It's been a privilege and career highlight to lead Stanford Brown, an inspiring team of professionals trusted by clients to advise on some of life's most important decisions," Hoyle said. "I have deeply valued our client relationships and am extremely proud of our achievements since I became Chief Executive."

Stanford Brown has announced that current director of private wealth Vincent O'Neill will take over the CEO duties.
