Stanford Brown appoints new consultant to Investment Committee

Sydney-based wealth management firm, Stanford Brown, has announced the appointment of Don Stammer as an external consultant to their Lunar Investment Committee.

In joining Stanford Brown, Stammer adds to his current roles as director of Kaplan Higher Education Pty Limited and adviser to the Third Link Growth Fund and Altius Asset Management.

Stammer has 45 years' experience in the financial services industry, which includes senior executive roles in the Reserve Bank of Australia, as director, investment strategy for Deutsche Bank Australia and as director of the ING group in Australia.

Commenting on his appointment, Stanford Brown CEO, Jonathan Hoyle, said he was delighted to welcome Stammer to the investment committee.

"He brings with him a wealth of experience and a wise head to guide us through the next market cycle.
