Spitfire product lead departs

Spitfire's chief product officer, Anil Sagaram, has left the organisation after eight months.

He announced the news on his LinkedIn page, saying that he would be announcing a new venture soon.

A spokesperson for Spitfire was nothing but complimentary of Anil and wished him well.

Sagaram is the second high-profile departure from the wealth management tech platform, with CEO John Shuttleworth leaving in December. "Spitfire was delighted to have appointed John", the spokesperson said. "However, with the benefit of hindsight, both parties agreed that his appointment was a little early for someone with his background and at the stage of Spitfire's development."

Sagaram spent more than 11 years with BT, including three years as head of product and design. He was also a business analyst with CBA, Macquarie, and Morgan Stanley Dean Winter.
