Financial technology platform provider Spitfire Corporation has expanded its senior executive team with the appointment of inaugural chief executive officer Matthew Johnson.
Johnson's appointment follows Spitfire's acquisition of multi-dealer owned platform business Wealthtrac, of which Johnson was CEO.
Commenting on his appointment, Spitfire chair Graham Maloney said: "We are very pleased to welcome Matt as Spitfire's CEO. It is a pivotal time for the company as we take our digital wealth platform to a broader market."
He added: "Matt is an accomplished financial services executive with strong leadership skills and a successful track record of delivering significant growth in collaboration with clients."
Spitfire has also appointed former BT Financial Group head of product development & design, Anil Sagaram, as its new head of product.
