Spaceship product chief lead digital sales transformation at Westpac

Spaceship made several c-suite appointments today, including Andrew Malak as chief product officer.

Malak was most recently head of digital sales transformation at Westpac, and has held similar business analyst and digital roles at St George Bank and AGL.

He's joined by Peter McHale as COO and Olly Emery as chief marketing officer.

In comments to Financial Standard, Spaceship CEO Andrew Moore said the future of the business was reliant on the experience of a strong leadership team. "These hires provide a strong lift to Spaceship's experience and capability," Moore said.

"Demand for an easy, affordable and educational way to invest remains unmet in Australia and Spaceship is making significant strides to fill this gap.

"As we grow, it is imperative we invest in our people and our structures to strengthen our business foundation, so we can deliver the best possible products to our customers."
