SPACESHIP VOYAGER
Date: May 2018
Position: Board Observer

Tech-focused super fund, Spaceship, has announced the appointment of Sarah Goodwin as a board observer, effective May 2018.

Goodman, who has 22 years' senior executive experience in strategic regulatory policy, governance and risk management, first joined Spaceship in October 2017 as chair of the Spaceship Advisory Board (SAB).

Previously, she was the executive general manager of the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA). Prior to this, she acted as the chief compliance officer at BT Financial Group and the company secretary of the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC).

Spaceship has also announced the appointment of Andrew Moore as independent chair, Daniel Yip as chief risk officer and Thomas Kildea as a senior compliance manager.

Their appointments follow two recent technical breaches by Spaceship and its trustee, Tidswell Financial Services, last year that attracted infringement notices from the ASIC last month.

Commenting on the appointments, CEO, Paul Bennetts, said: "The expansion of the Board, along with two senior executives, will substantially strengthen Spaceship's experience and capability, providing a commensurate lift in our strategic direction and governance."
