Crowe Horwath, part of Findex, has announced that managing partner for South Queensland, Ross Patane, has stepped down, effective immediately.
Patane, who held the role for the past six years, will be replaced by senior partner, Mary O'Driscoll.
Patane, in turn, has returned to the Crowe Horwath corporate finance team as a senior partner and has been charged with national oversight of the hotel, tourism and leisure industry consulting team.
Commenting on his successor, Patane said: "Mary is an exceptional practitioner and a strong leader, and the South Queensland business will be in good hands into the future under her guidance and direction."
"As an advocate and sponsor of women in leadership and a proud father of three daughters, Mary's appointment as Managing Partner is particularly satisfying as the first female Managing Partner in our Queensland Crowe Horwath business."
