Former Calastone MD heads up new Fintech

Shannon Bernasconi, co-founder of MA Operator, has confirmed her appointment as the fintech firm's executive director. In this role, Bernasconi is responsible for the management of the overall strategy, sales and product development within the MA Operator business.

As former managing director of Calastone and with over 15-years' experience in banking and finance services, Bernasconi said she was excited to join a dynamic and fast-paced industry.

When asked what she enjoyed most about working in a start-up business, Bernasconi said that "greater speed and flexibility are the hallmarks of good, new organisations."
