SG Hiscock appoints Head of Distribution

SG Hiscock & Company (SGH) has announced the appointment of Anthony Cochran as head of distribution.

In this Melbourne-based role, Cochrane will report directly to Stephen Hiscock and be responsible for the distribution of SGH funds across Australia. He fills the vacancy left by Eliza Weaving, who moved to Capital Group in February 2019.

Commenting on Cochrane's appointment, Hiscock said: "Anthony is an experienced manager of high performance sales teams and has an in-depth knowledge of the asset management industry."

He added: "He also has a strong understanding of international and domestic markets as well as the value of active investing through time, complementing the broader team in our overall business objectives."

Cochran joins SGH after 14 years at Macquarie Bank, where he was responsible for distribution of the Macquarie Professional Series suite of global equity funds and hedge funds. Before this, he held business development roles at Ventura Investment Management and Advance Asset Management.
