Sequoia Financial Group has announced the appointment of John Larsen to its board, effective February 2018.
Larsen has 30 years' experience across the financial services industry and is the former chair of Odyssey Funds Management.
Currently, Larsen is an executive director of Glennon Small Companies. Previously, he was a member of the investment committee at Huntley Investment Company, a group investment manager at ING, and head of equities at Deutsche Bank Australia.
According to Sequoia's chair, Michael Carter, Larsen's appointment followed "a comprehensive external process to identify new non-executive directors complimentary to existing directors' skills and experience."
