Senior planner promoted at industry fund

Australian Catholic Superannuation has promoted Boris Tesanovic from senior financial planner to financial advice manager following the retirement of Oya Guney.

Cameron Wood is head of marketing and business development for the fund. He says the organisation had the ideal replacement already in place. "Thankfully we have an ideal replacement in Boris Tesanovic, who was previously in the role of Senior Financial Planner and has been promoted to Financial Advice manager.

"Boris has been with the Fund for over 5 years and this continues the trend of recruiting within through our succession planning processes."

Tesanovic was twice named IFS' financial planner of the year, in 2017 and 2018.

He came to planning through a slightly different path, having trained and worked as a nurse for more than 10 years before moving into financial planning in 2007.
