Senior Investment Analyst joins Tribeca
Tribeca Investment Partners has announced the appointment of Angus Wright to the firm's Australian equities investment team, effective 22 August 2019, in the newly-created role of senior investment analyst.
Wright has over 20 years' finance industry experience, including 14 years' funds management experience in Australia and the UK.
He joins Tribeca after five years as a fundamental equity analyst and portfolio manager at Aitken Investment Management. Before this, he co-founded and managed an Asia-Pacific focused thematic equity fund at Sydney-based boutique, Searchlight Asset Management.
Commenting on his appointment, Tribeca CEO and managing director, David Aylward, said: "Angus is an experienced investment analyst with a strong track record and [is] a welcome addition to the team. He has been known for many years to some of our senior staff who have regarded him highly as an industry peer."
He added: "Our team feels great conviction that Angus will be an excellent fit and he has the experience to very quickly make a significant impact within our Australian equities investment team."
Tribeca has also announced the appointment of Ken Liu who will commence with the firm on 2 September 2019 as compliance manager.
