S&P Global Market Intelligence adds ESG specialist

Former MSCI ESG Research executive director Michael Salvatico has joined S&P Global Market Intelligence as their head of Asia Pacific ESG business development.

He is joined on the ESG business development team by New York-based Katie Gandy and Vivian Wendan Zheng in Singapore.

Salvatico spent more than nine years with MSCI and has held emerging markets roles with Merrill Lynch. He also has experience with Ernst & Young and Citigroup. Of his appointment, Salvatico said, "I am excited to join S&P family and lead the Asia Pacific team. S&P have deep and broad expertise in company analysis and are committed to ESG Research.
