Rice Warner has announced that Michael Rice is stepping down as chief executive officer, effective immediately, after 30 years of building and leading the business.
Rice will continue as an executive and board member, and will focus on working for a few key clients and on public policy initiatives, the firm said.
His successor is Andrew Boal, former head of Australasia at Willis Towers Watson.
Boal said of Rice: "I respect and appreciate Michael's contribution to our industry over the last 30 years and admire the successful business he has built. Rice Warner has an incredibly talented team and energetic culture. Our momentum will continue during this transition, as we collectively remain focused on being one of Australia's leading strategic consultants."
Chair Jane Paskin added: "I congratulate Michael on his achievements and look forward to working with Andrew through this next chapter of Rice Warner's history."
