Rest Super hires operations staffer

Rest Super has recruited a new investment professional to join its investment management operations team.

Padraig O'Donnell has been appointed manager of operational due diligence, joining from AustralianSuper, where he spent three years overseeing third-party risk.

Specifically, he looked after the operational due diligence program for the fund's external investment managers and custodian relationships.

Before that, he spent seven years at Citi, most recently as an implementation manager. In this role, he basically brought global custody & fund security services to Australian and New Zealand clients.

Earlier, he was an oversight manager at Hostplus, a fund accountant at IFM Investors and had a similar job at State Street.
