Resolution Capital chair, former CEO of MLC Investment Management, to retire

Resolution Capital chair Bruce Coleman will retire at the end of the month. He has been a non-executive director and chair of the Resolution Capital board since 2007.

Andrew Parsons, founding director and CIO of Resolution Capital, thanked Coleman for, "his dedication and strategic input during a period in which Resolution Capital has been able to establish itself as a leading Australian and Global real estate securities investment manager, delivering strong and consistent returns for our investors.

"Bruce played a key role in helping establish the business objectives of Resolution Capital, overseeing constructive ownership changes whilst ensuring the best interests of all stakeholders were balanced appropriately.

"We wish Bruce and his family well in retirement."

Coleman was the CEO of MLC Investment Management for eight years, ending in 2004, and has held directorships with MLC Limited, Lend Lease, and NAB. He was appointed as a non0executive director of Platinum Asset Management in April 2007 and of Platinum Capital in June 2004.
