Research head moves into investments head role at Magellan

Following a restructure of its investment team, Magellan Financial Group has split its head of research role into two - head of research and head of investments - with former research head Gerald Stack appointed as the new head of investments, and portfolio manager Nikki Thomas promoted to head of research. Stack will continue to be responsible for the investment team, with all sector heads reporting directly to him. He joined Magellan in January 2007.
